The arrest of Trinamool leader Shivprasad Hazra, known as Shibu, in Sandeshkhali has stirred a range of emotions among the residents. Shibu Hazra was produced in the Basirhat Sub-Divisional Court on Sunday, with police documents mentioning him as an 'influential person.' Amid slogans of 'thief-thief,' local women celebrated the arrest by distributing sweets, expressing relief and a hope for peace. However, there is lingering tension as residents anticipate the apprehension of another individual, Sheikh Shahjahan.
