A young man was allegedly assaulted during a BJP campaign in the Rajarhat New Town area after he raised the slogan “Jai Bangla,” triggering tension and political unrest. The incident took place in Mani Khola, Narayanpur, where BJP candidate Piyush Kandiya was conducting a public outreach campaign.
