Actor Pranab Chattopadhyay, known for his roles in television serials like Shriman Bhagwan Das and Netaji, passed away at the age of 28, reportedly after suffering a sudden panic attack linked to prolonged unemployment. His untimely death has sent shockwaves through the television industry, with colleagues expressing grief over the loss of a young artist struggling to find consistent work.

According to accounts shared by actress Alokananda Guha, Pranab had been under significant mental stress due to lack of work opportunities for an extended period. She stated that he suffered a panic attack and was being taken to the hospital when he reportedly experienced a heart attack on the way, leading to his death. She recalled that he had frequently approached her for work, and she had tried to support him through small roles and promotional assignments whenever possible.

Pranab was reportedly the sole breadwinner of his family and had recently married. His family includes his wife, parents, and a brother, making his sudden demise particularly devastating for those dependent on him. His passing comes shortly after the recent death of actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, adding to a growing sense of loss within the industry.
