A Toto driver in Newtown has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a biker in a case of road rage near the Tata Medical Center. The incident took place at a traffic signal where the Toto was standing when the biker reportedly asked for space to pass from the right.
According to the complaint, the Toto driver suddenly became aggressive, threw the biker onto the road and pulled out an iron rod from the vehicle. He then allegedly beat the biker in full public view, causing serious injuries.
The injured biker was rushed to the hospital and is currently undergoing treatment. Police arrested the Toto driver following the incident and have started further investigation into the matter.
