A horrific accident unfolded in Nuh, Haryana, as a tourist bus burst into flames, resulting in the deaths of 10 individuals and leaving 24 others critically injured. The incident occurred early in the morning, with reports indicating that the entire bus was engulfed in flames, leaving a devastating scene. Passersby alerted authorities about the accident, prompting swift responses from police teams and fire brigades, although tragically, the bus was reduced to ashes by the time they arrived.
The tourist bus, carrying approximately 60 passengers, primarily residents of Punjab and Chandigarh, was traveling on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway when the fire broke out around 1:30 am. Eyewitnesses recounted scenes of panic as passengers screamed for help while the fire rapidly spread through the vehicle. Despite efforts from bystanders to stop the bus and extinguish the flames, the severity of the blaze led to tragic consequences, with Superintendent of Police Narendra Bijarania overseeing the scene. Identification efforts for the badly burnt bodies are currently underway as authorities work to understand the full extent of the tragedy.
