A tragic incident unfolded in Kakinara as a dispute between two brothers escalated into a violent confrontation, resulting in the death of Mahendra Shaw. The conflict reportedly began over a disagreement about fetching drinking water. Vinod Shaw, the elder brother, allegedly struck Mahendra Shaw on the head with an iron rod during the dispute.
Mahendra was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries this morning. The news of the incident sparked unrest in the Kakinara area, leading local residents to block the road near Kankinara Railway Gate No. 29, demanding the immediate arrest of the accused, Vinod Shaw. Despite police intervention, Vinod Shaw remains at large, and authorities are actively searching for him.
