In a devastating incident in Southern California, a plane crash resulted in the deaths of six individuals after the aircraft burst into flames.
The crash occurred near Murrieta's airport, shortly after the flight had departed from Las Vegas's Harry Reid International Airport. The plane involved was identified as a Cessna C550 business jet.
Authorities arrived at the scene to find the plane completely engulfed in fire, along with approximately one acre of surrounding vegetation.
Tragically, all six passengers on board were found deceased when officials arrived at around 4:15 am. The identities of the victims have not yet been disclosed.
This incident follows a recent plane crash in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where a single-engine plane carrying five people crashed near a golf course. One person lost their life in that crash, which occurred shortly after 11 am. Witnesses reported seeing the plane flying erratically before the accident.
The Federal Aviation Administration will be conducting investigations into both incidents to determine the causes of these tragic crashes.
