BJP candidate from Hooghly Lok Sabha seat, Locket Chatterjee, has raised accusations against Trinamool Congress supporters, asserting that her car was targeted in an attack. Sharing a video of the incident, Chatterjee depicted a scene where individuals from the crowd are seen assaulting her vehicle.
The incident unfolded in Magora, Hooghly, where Chatterjee had arrived to participate in a religious ceremony. Recounting the events, Chatterjee stated, "We were campaigning in the evening and had gone to participate in a Kali Puja ceremony around 9.30. As we were leaving for our next program, a crowd gathered, some waving black flags with long sticks. They surrounded my car, broke the flag on it, and attempted to gain entry. With the assistance of my security personnel, I managed to depart from the scene."
