Truck hits motorcycle from behind on NH-12 in Samserganj, 1 dead

A fatal accident occurred this morning on National Highway 12 at Houshnagar in Samserganj when a truck struck a motorcycle from behind. The collision resulted in the death of the motorcycle’s rear passenger, while the rider escaped unharmed. The deceased has been identified as Mainul Haque, aged 50, a resident of Houshnagar village in Samserganj.

Following the accident, heavy traffic congestion developed on the national highway, disrupting the flow of vehicles. Police from Samserganj police station arrived at the scene promptly, secured the area, and managed the traffic to restore normalcy. The body was recovered and sent for post-mortem examination.

The police are investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the collision. They continue to monitor the situation on the highway to prevent further disruptions. The accident has drawn immediate attention due to its impact on local traffic and safety conditions on the busy highway.
