Two local trains stand consecutively at Howrah's station amid ongoing railway disruptions

On Friday morning around 9:45 AM, two local trains were seen standing consecutively on the same up line at Mourigram railway station, located on the Kharagpur branch of South Eastern Railway. Both trains were positioned one after another on the up line. After the first train departed, the second train moved forward on the same track.

Railway sources stated that such occurrences, where two trains are lined up on the same track, are common operational practices, especially during service disruptions or adjustments. The South Eastern Railway has not yet fully restored normal operations, which has affected train movements on this route.

The ongoing irregularities have led to some concerns among daily passengers. Authorities continue to monitor train schedules and movements closely to ensure the resumption of regular services as soon as possible. Passengers are advised to follow official railway updates for the latest information.
