In a significant breakthrough, two accused, Vikas Jha and Manish Mahato, also known as Mania, have been arrested from Saharsa in Bihar in connection with the robbery at the Domjur Jewellery Showroom in Howrah.
The arrests were made in a joint operation conducted by the Bihar Special Task Force (STF) and the Howrah City Police. Following their capture, Jha and Mahato were brought from judicial custody in Saharsa to Howrah, where they were presented in court today.
After undergoing the necessary legal procedures, both individuals have been remanded to the custody of the Howrah City Police.
