Two sisters shot dead near Delhi poice station over loan dispute

Two women were shot and killed by unidentified assailants near Delhi's RK Puram police station early on Sunday.

Despite immediate hospitalization, both victims succumbed to their injuries. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Manoj C, stated that the incident was reported at 4:40 am, and it is believed that the shooting was motivated by a dispute over money involving the victims' brother.

The police are conducting a thorough investigation and have filed a case to apprehend the suspects. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed condolences to the families while criticizing the central government's handling of peace and order in the capital.

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, sent his condolences to the surviving women’s families while criticising the Bharatiya Janata PartyParty (BJP) led government at the centre for failing to maintain peace and order in the nation’s capital. In a recent tweet, he said that instead of restoring peace and order, the administration was planning to seize control of the whole Delhi government.
