During the eighth convocation of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti (KMC) Language University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel urged graduating students to apply their acquired knowledge for the betterment of society. Commending the university for implementing the National Education Policy 2020 across all subjects, she encouraged them to strive for the highest A++ rating from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
A total of 1,184 degrees were conferred during the ceremony, including 32 PhDs and 138 medals, with Padma Bhushan Prof Kapil Kapoor receiving an honorary D.Litt. degree. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, the chief guest, emphasized the sensitivity of those proficient in multiple languages, stating that God resides within the human body.
