One of the students, who raised concerns after the Udupi video controversy came to fore, has been receiving obscene messages on her social media accounts. Based on her complaint, a case was registered at the Udupi CEN police station.
After three students of a private non-medical college in Udupi were suspended for allegedly filming a video of their classmate in the washroom, several students have raised concerns about similar incidents in the past.
The Udupi police have registered a first information report (FIR) against the students and management of Netra Jyothi Institute of Allied Health Sciences following a suo motu action.
