An under-construction bridge in Aguwan-Sultanganj, located in Bihar's Bhagalpur district, collapsed on Sunday, marking the second time that the bridge has suffered a collapse.
The incident occurred around 6 pm, with locals present in the area managing to capture video footage of the bridge collapsing.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far due to the incident. Upon receiving information about the collapse, the local administration swiftly responded and dispatched personnel to the site. Additionally, the authorities have instructed the "Pul Nirman Nigam" (Bridge Construction Corporation) to provide a detailed report on the incident.
The bridge, which was still under construction, experienced a previous collapse before this incident. The Bhagalpur District Development Council official, Kumar Anurag, confirmed the occurrence and emphasized the importance of conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
