A partially constructed building collapsed on Mukta Ram Babu Street in Burrabazar, triggering panic in the area. The incident took place under the jurisdiction of Girish Park Police Station.
According to sources, one laborer is trapped under the debris, and rescue operations are underway. Upon receiving the information, the police immediately reached the spot and started coordinating the rescue efforts. Residents and fellow workers are also assisting in clearing the rubble.
As per the latest reports, the laborer has been rescued and admitted to a nearby hospital. Police's preliminary guess suggested that work was underway and a section of the front wall of the building suddenly collapsed.
