Abhishek alias Chhote Sarkar, a notorious criminal with a criminal record including murder, loot, and extortion, was fatally shot outside Danapur Court in Patna on December 15.
Chhote Sarkar, an undertrial prisoner brought from Beur Model Jail for a court appearance, fell victim to two assailants who opened fire with pistols, leading to his immediate demise.
The Superintendent of Police (West), Rajesh Kumar, revealed that Abhishek had numerous cases filed against him at Bihta police station.
Swift police response resulted in the arrest of both assailants, who were found with the murder weapon and four empty cartridges.
