Unidentified body found floating in Ganga near Sovabazar

A body was recovered from the ghat in front of Ahiritola Circular Railway Station in Sovabazar. The body was floating in the waters of the Ganges. It was recovered by the staff of Nimtala crematorium and local police officials and sent for post-mortem. Efforts are being made to identify the body.
