Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, along with Minister of States SP Singh Baghel and Bharti Praveen Pawar, actively participated in a nationwide awareness campaign on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) technique in Delhi.
The Health Minister demonstrated a hands-on approach by undergoing CPR training, marking the initiation of the campaign. Stressing the importance of CPR in saving lives during cardiac arrests, Mandaviya emphasized that efforts should focus on maintaining heart health through a good diet.
The Health Minister taking it to X wrote, 'leading with a hands-on approach to SAVE LIVES! Marking the beginning of a nationwide awareness campaign on the crucial CPR technique'.
While also highlighting the significance of timely CPR intervention. The nationwide campaign aims to train more than 10 lakh people in CPR simultaneously across the country, addressing recent concerns about heart attacks among the youth.
