Union Minister of State, Jitin Prasada, narrowly escaped injury in a convoy accident that occurred in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. The incident took place as the convoy was en route from Majhola to Bahorwa village, where Prasada was scheduled for an official visit. The accident occurred during Prasada's one-day parliamentary constituency tour of Pilibhit.
According to reports, a vehicle in the convoy suddenly braked, causing a chain reaction among the vehicles. The minister's car, along with others in the convoy, collided due to the abrupt braking.
Fortunately, there were no casualties reported from the accident, and all occupants, including Jitin Prasada, BJP District President Sanjeev Pratap Singh, MLC Sudhir Gupta, and Barkheda MLA Pravaktanand, emerged safely.
Despite the damage sustained by the minister's vehicle from both the front and rear impacts, Jitin Prasada and other leaders continued their journey to Bahorwa in another vehicle. Local authorities and security personnel swiftly responded to the incident to ensure the safety of all involved.
