UP STF arrests Govt school attendant for forging documents

The UP Police Special Task Force (STF) has arrested Hari Prasad, an attendant at Bakhra Inter College in Deoria district, for using forged documents to secure his position. Employed at the government school since 1995, Prasad was apprehended following complaints about individuals using fake documents to obtain jobs in the education sector.

STF inspector Satya Prakash Singh revealed that complaints about fraudulent job procurements led to a thorough investigation. Upon verifying Prasad's records from the district inspector of schools, discrepancies in his date of birth were uncovered. It was discovered that Prasad had altered his transfer certificate to make himself appear younger, thus extending his tenure and benefiting financially for a longer period.

Prasad was arrested at Bakhra Inter College under the Gauri Bazar police station. During interrogation, he confessed to manipulating his date of birth to continue receiving salary and benefits.
