Uttarakhand CM Dhami has called upon officials to work diligently towards making the state drug-free by 2025.
Emphasizing the importance of effective governance and the swift implementation of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) signed at the Global Investment Summit, Dhami instructed Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar to spearhead awareness campaigns involving educational institutions, the health department, and de-addiction centers.
Dhami urged a mission-mode approach to achieve the goal of a drug-free Uttarakhand. Additionally, he directed Information Technology Development Agency Secretary Shailesh Bagoli to enhance online services, streamline correspondence, and ensure time-bound disposal of matters to promote efficiency.
The single window system should be strengthened and implementation of MoUs which have the potential to generate employment opportunities should be given top priority, Dhami said.
