A vegetable vendor named Dharamveer in Ghaziabad, UP brutally stabbed his wife Sundari (50) to death with a sword in their village of Faljagadh in the Modinagar area. The shocking act occurred following a heated argument over a minor issue – a 10-minute delay in making tea. Dharamveer, who had been residing in Faljagadh for two decades, attacked Sundari when she was preparing tea on the roof. The dispute escalated, leading to the gruesome murder that left the community in shock.
While initial accounts suggested the murder was triggered by the delayed tea, their son Soldier contradicted this, stating that his father had harbored intentions of killing his mother for some time. Dharamveer attacked not only Sundari but also their son when he tried to intervene.
The couple had been facing financial strain, with reports indicating a dispute over Rs 15,000. Sundari had taken a loan of Rs 50,000 for house repairs, spending Rs 35,000 and withholding Rs 15,000. Dharamveer allegedly demanded the remaining amount, leading to a confrontation that turned fatal.
Police responded to the crime scene, initiating an investigation into the matter. The authorities have taken Sundari's body into custody for post-mortem, and a dedicated team has been formed to apprehend Dharamveer, assuring the community that the perpetrator will be brought to justice soon.
