Senior BJP leader L K Advani was admitted to Delhi’s Apollo Hospital on Tuesday, a month after his previous discharge. The 96-year-old leader is currently stable and under observation, according to sources.
Advani is being cared for by neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri at Apollo Hospital. Before this, he was also admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences just days before his previous hospitalization at Apollo.
L K Advani has had a distinguished political career, serving as the Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004 and as the Union Home Minister from 1999 to 2004.
