Violence erupts in Kolkata post-voting; BJP worker attacked

Violence has continued in Kolkata and its districts even after voting has concluded, with preparations for counting underway. Late Saturday night, BJP worker Ramen Sao was attacked in ward number 57.

Sao, who was serving as a BJP booth agent at KMC School booth number 283 in the Beleghata assembly constituency of the Kolkata North Lok Sabha constituency, was allegedly beaten up for preventing Trinamool workers from casting fake votes.
