The second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, encompassing 122 constituencies across 20 districts, continued the trend of enthusiastic voter participation and quirky voting styles observed in the first phase. From early Tuesday morning, long queues formed at various polling booths, reflecting the democratic fervour among the electorate.

Among the many unique sights witnessed, a distinctive scene at Booth Number 260 of the Bodhgaya Assembly seat captured immediate public and media attention: a young man arriving at the polling booth dramatically mounted on a buffalo The young voter, identified as Chhotu Yadav, instantly drew a crowd as he made his unusual entrance. The sight of him riding the large animal to cast his ballot was so arresting that people quickly gathered to watch and capture the moment.

This creative display of democratic participation is, however, not an isolated incident in the ongoing Bihar elections. A very similar scene was witnessed during the first phase of voting on November 6. In Bhagwanpur, located in the Vaishali district, a voter named Kedar Yadav similarly rode a buffalo to the polling booth to cast his vote, making an enthusiastic public statement about his rights.
