WB BJP to felicitate Tripura CM Dr Manik Saha on April 08

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) West Bengal Committee will celebrate 'Tripura Day' by felicitating the state's Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha and the party's state president Rajib Bhattacharjee in Kolkata.

A preparatory meeting for organizing the felicitation program was chaired by BJP national secretary and Andhra Pradesh co-ruler Sunil Deodhar in Kolkata on Monday, BJP general secretary Amit Rakshit said while talking as per reports.

He said, “BJP National Secretary Deodhar arrived in Kolkata from New Delhi and chaired a preparatory meeting to felicitate Tripura CM Dr. Manik Saha and Pradesh BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee at the National Library premises in Kolkata on April 8 next year. That is why I also attended this Monday meeting in Calcutta.

West Bengal BJP Mahila Morcha president and MLA Agnimitra Paul along with other leaders also attended the meeting.

"West Bengal BJP President Dr. Sukanta Majumdar and Leader of Opposition Suvendhu Adhikari along with other dignitaries will remain present at the function on April 8 next year," he also added.

It is learned that after the felicitation of Tripura CM and BJP President, a grand cultural program is likely to be held at the National Library premises in Kolkata.
