Complaints have piled up in the 'Peace Room' opened in the Raj Bhavan to hear complaints of violence and unrest regarding the West Bengal Panchayat elections. The 'Peace Room' is working day and night and there are continuous calls of complaints.

According to sources, the opposition is complaining that they are being pressured by the ruling party TMC to withdraw the nomination, although TMC has questioned the intention of the Governor to open the Peace Room at Raj Bhavan.

On last Thursday, the Raj Bhavan issued a notice saying that the control room is being opened to listen to the complaints of violence. After that 'Peace Rooms' were opened in Raj Bhavan and complaints are being heard there continuously.

According to the information received, OSD Sandeep Singh himself is posted in Peace Room and he is accompanied by many staff of Raj Bhavan. He was getting phone calls one after the other on the 'land phone' he kept.
