WB re-launches Duare Sarkar project for door-to-door government benefits outreach

The Duare Sarkar project is being re-launched in the state of West Bengal, according to an announcement by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The project aims to provide government benefits to the people of the state through door-to-door outreach, with camping to be conducted by the state government from rural to urban areas at every booth and mandal level in every district.

The campaign will be operational from April 1 to April 20 and will offer the benefits of 33 government projects, including two new ones, to the people. The project is being implemented with the aim of reaching out to the people and providing them with the necessary support and services to help improve their living conditions.

During the first 10 days of the campaign, applications from the people will be taken, while the remaining 10 days will be devoted to providing services to the people based on their applications. The state government has entrusted 44 IAS officers with the responsibility of carrying out this campaign.

Through the Duare Sarkar project, people in West Bengal will have access to a range of government schemes, including the ration card, health partner card, Krishak Bandhu Yojana, and Yuvashree. The project seeks to bring relief to people who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and provide them with access to the necessary resources to improve their lives.

This initiative by the West Bengal government is expected to have a significant impact on the lives of people in the state, particularly those living in rural areas who may not have access to these government schemes. The re-launch of the Duare Sarkar project will be closely watched, and its success will depend on the efficient implementation of the campaign and the reach of government services to the people.
