Mayor Hakim has directed the arrangement of temporary parking at the location, with plans to formalize it through a tender in the future.
Expressing concern over unauthorized commercial activities, Mayor Hakim addressed the presence of a hotel operating on the footpath near No. 19 Alipur Road. He has instructed corporation officials to promptly remove it and ensure that no new establishments of this nature are permitted in the area.
While acknowledging the ongoing battle against COVID-19, Mayor Hakim emphasized the continued presence of patients with low immunity in various hospitals. The corporation is actively gearing up to combat the pandemic, with successful health camps in operation.
In a separate note, Mayor Hakim extended best wishes to the Left for the upcoming Brigade Conference, expressing hope for a successful event. Despite previous attempts in 2021, the Left had struggled to secure any MLA positions in the brigade conference.
