Jr Doctors announce 'hunger strike' from today, says demands not met
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar has unveiled the much-anticipated dates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The polls will be conducted in seven phases, commencing from April 19 and culminating on June 1, with the results set to be announced on June 4. Notably, there will be no simultaneous polls.
19th April- Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri
26th April- Darjeeling, Raigunj, Balurghat
7th May- Malda North and South, Murshidabad, Janghipur
13th May- Asansol, Krishnanagar, Ranaghat, Bolpur, Bardhaman
(West), Birbhum, Behrampur, Durgapur
20th May- Serampore, Bangaon, Howrah, Ulberia, Hoogly, Arambagh, Barrackpore
25th May- Tamluk, Kanthi, Medinipur, Purulia, Bankura, Bishnupur,
1st June- Kolkata North and South, Barasat, Dumdum, Basirhat, Yadavpur, Diamond Harbour, Mathurapur, Jaynagar, Jadavpur
