West Bengal Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for accusing the Central Government of not providing funds to the state but not taking any action about it. In a recent statement, Chowdhury said that if Mamata Banerjee is serious about demanding funds for the state, she should also lead an agitation and protest against the central government in Delhi. He also suggested that Mamata should take the Congress party along with her to protest.

This statement comes after Mamata Banerjee's party, Trinamool Congress, stayed away from a meeting of opposition parties ahead of the Parliament session to discuss the Adani controversy. TMC has been repeatedly raising the issue of the Centre not paying the dues of the state, but the party's absence from the meeting has raised questions about its commitment to the issue.

Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, who is known for his outspokenness, has been critical of Mamata Banerjee in the past as well. He has accused the TMC government of failing to develop the state and not doing enough for the welfare of the people.

The relationship between the Congress and the TMC has been strained for some time now, with the two parties contesting against each other in the recent state elections. The Congress has been trying to strengthen its base in West Bengal and is hoping to take advantage of the growing resentment against the TMC government.

It remains to be seen whether Mamata Banerjee will respond to Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury's challenge and lead an agitation in Delhi. The ongoing tussle between the TMC and the Congress is likely to continue in the coming months as both parties prepare for the upcoming elections in the state.
