In a startling incident in Shekhpur village of Shamsherganj, a woman disguised as a beggar was apprehended by locals after she allegedly stole gold jewellery and a significant sum of money from a household. The incident sparked sensation in the area, prompting swift police response from the Samsherganj police station. According to reports, the woman arrived at houses in Shekhpur, begging with her two children, and upon finding an empty cupboard in the home of Mithu Sheikh, she fled with the stolen valuables.
Upon discovery, the woman admitted to the theft, leading to public outrage. The intervention of the local police helped bring the situation under control, with the woman arrested and taken to the Shamsherganj police station for further investigation.
