Muzaffarpur hospital blaze kills 3 patients, leaves 20 injured
A chilling discovery shook the quiet village of Sangberia under Matia police station today morning when local farmers stumbled upon the blood-soaked body of an unidentified woman lying in a lonely paddy field. The woman had multiple deep injury marks on her neck and body, clearly estimates that she has been brutally murdered before being left in the paddy field. Matia Police station officers rushed to the spot, sealed the area, and recovered the body along with a small bundle of clothes and a bag found nearby.
Despite checking the bag and clothes, officers have not yet found any clue about who she was or where she came from. Photographs of the woman have been sent to nearby police stations and shared with adjacent areas to help identify her. The body has been sent to Basirhat Sub-Divisional Hospital for post-mortem to determine the exact cause and time of death.
Bengal police probe underway and are questioning local villagers to gather any leads. Area residents are scared and angry, saying the paddy isolated fields are often used by criminals at night because of poor lighting and low patrolling. Police suspects the woman was killed somewhere else and then dumped in the field to hide the crime. Teams are now combing through missing-person reports and checking CCTV footage from nearby roads to trace her last movements and catch the suspect soon.
