Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath commended a Muslim youth for singing a Hindu bhajan at the Divine Art and Skill Exhibition in Gorakhpur on Saturday, February 3. As Adityanath visited his stall at the exhibition, the youth, seeking a few minutes, recited a part of a Hindu bhajan. The Chief Minister, visibly impressed, described it as "Bahut sundar" (too beautiful) and applauded the performance, with a video capturing the moment going viral on social media. BJP MP Ravi Kishan, accompanying Adityanath at the event, also lauded the young man for his skills.
Earlier in the day, addressing a public meeting in Kannauj's Ashok Nagar, Yogi Adityanath announced the renaming of Kannauj Medical College after Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Criticizing the Samajwadi Party, he highlighted the name change during their tenure, emphasizing their alleged disregard for Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Adityanath accused the party of opposing Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya and disrespecting Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar in Kannauj, claiming that despite seeking votes in the name of caste, the party primarily worked for the benefit of the family.
