In a significant development, the Golabari police station has apprehended a youth, identified as Kishan Agarwal, in the vicinity of Howrah Bridge with approximately Rs 17 lakh. The resident of Belur's upscale locality was intercepted while transporting unaccounted money in a luxury car.
Following the arrest, the Golabari police station handed over the seized amount of Rs 17 lakh to the Income Tax Department for further investigation.
