The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided four people in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada district for allegedly providing financial support to plant bombs during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's event in Bihar.
According to reports, the central agency raided the houses of Mohammed Sinan, Iqbal, Sarfaraz Nawaz and Naufal on Sunday. All four are residents of Nandavara near Bantwal. NIA sources said the four have been detained and investigated. During the investigation, it was discovered that there were ongoing transfers to multiple bank accounts.
The four suspects are likely to be taken by the NIA to Bihar for further investigation. However, at the time of writing, it was not clear which rally of PM Modi the four planned to disrupt.
