On Sunday, a Bhoomi Poojan program was held at Harmu Maidan in preparation for Pujyapad Puri Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya's Virat Dharmasabha on March 16. Dr. HP Narayan, a renowned physician and patron of the program, announced that Peethadhishwar Jagat Guru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Maharaj of Govardhan Math Puri would be visiting Ranchi as part of his four-day stay program. He is expected to arrive at Ranchi Railway Station on March 16 at 8 am.
Upon his arrival, Pujyapad Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj will be given a grand welcome in the traditional way of Jharkhand, with Mandar-Nagada and Pushpavarsha, before proceeding to SAIL City where he will be welcomed as per Vedic rituals.
Hundreds of devotees, along with motorcycles, will escort him from Ranchi railway station to his residence, where he will rest before attending a grand reception at Harmu Maidan at around 4.00 pm. There, Jagadguru Shankaracharya will address the huge religious gathering from the divine-grand pandal made there.
Chandra Bhushan Jha, the chairman of the organizing committee, emphasized the importance of religion and following its ideals. He described Shankaracharya ji's appearance in Jharkhand and gave directions to all of us as a lifetime opportunity. The volunteers of Adityavahini are preparing for the grand program of Jagadguru Shankaracharya, and the people of Ranchi and surrounding areas are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to listen to Sanatani Dharmavalambis.
