Karni Sena activists created a ruckus at rapper MC Stan's concert in Madhya Pradesh's Indore, stopping the show amid allegations that he used profanity in his songs to pollute young minds.
According to eyewitnesses, a concert organized at a hotel in the Lasudia area on Friday night was stopped, upsetting fans of the rapper who won the 16th season of the reality TV show Bigg Boss.
The police had to use mild force to calm the unrelenting protesters.
Karni Sena district unit president Anurag Pratap Singh Raghav said on Saturday, "MC Stan is spreading obscenity among the youth by using foul language in his songs." During his performance, Stan used profanity and sang songs containing obscenities in front of the young audience, after which Karni Sena activists took over the show and forced the rapper to leave the venue, Raghav alleged.
Meanwhile, some videos of the commotion have surfaced on social media, showing activists taking over the stage after the rapper's exit.
