Left leaders pay tribute to Bhagat Singh, lash out at Trinamool's corruption

Left leaders including Biman Bose, Suryakant Mishra, and Meenakshi Mukherjee gathered at Mintu Park to pay tribute to Shaheed Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh on his 93rd birth anniversary.

During the event, the Left Front Chairman, Biman Bose, criticized the Trinamool government, accusing it of rampant corruption. Bose stated that there is no news in the state that does not involve corruption, and there is a lack of a healthy social sense under the current government. He called on people to unite and fight against corruption.

Bose also responded to Kunal Ghosh's comments, stating that the trend of making false allegations has become widespread among politicians. He noted that the allegations against him had been ongoing for many years, and an investigation was only conducted after 12 years. He alleged that the report was not published because it was all lies.

Meanwhile, left leader Meenakshi Mukherjee spoke about corruption in the municipal corporation, alleging that there had been corruption in recruitment since the government's formation in 2011. She also targeted Madan Mitra's speech, stating that party leaders and ministers openly discussed partyism, which would lead to corruption.

Mukherjee emphasized that the left's movement was for job seekers and the common people, and corruption would be punished if proven in court. She also criticized the government's claim of transparency, noting that only 1% passed the TET exam on the first day. Overall, the left leaders used the occasion to speak out against corruption and call for action against it.
