The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has released the description of the accused in the case of communal violence in Mominpur area of Kolkata.
According to sources, the NIA court had already issued arrest warrants against all the seven accused. He was also declared a fugitive. But even after this he did not surrender. NIA officials claim that he is one of the seven conspirators.
Reward has already been announced by NIA for tracing these seven people. Their names and case information are being made public in the form of posters. NIA will give a reward of one lakh rupees to those who trace these fugitives. According to NIA sources, the court may also order confiscation of his assets.
Incidentally, arrest warrants were issued against these seven absconders on January 11 on the orders of the NIA court. 36 lakh rupees were recovered from the houses of three people including Salahuddin. From that incident, the investigating officers inferred that the riot was planned by the three in advance.
NIA has recently presented a charge sheet against a total of 16 people. A total of eight people were arrested by the NIA in this case. Several cases including spreading violence were registered against him.
It is noteworthy that last year on the day of Lakshmi Puja in West Bengal, there was communal violence between two communities in Mominpur area. When an NIA inquiry was ordered in this matter, it was found that people associated with terrorist organizations had carried out the violence.
