As per a report submitted by ADGP (Intelligence), security will be tightened in all venues during the PM’s visit.

As per reports, Surendran has received an anonymous letter in Malayalam which claims to attack the PM using suicide bombers. Based on the complaint filed by Surendran, the police have begun an inquiry. It also decided to beef up the PM’s security during his two-day visit in the state.

Among the various security threats, the intelligence report mentions the presence of cadres of the banned PFI and organisations such as PDP, Welfare Party and CPI Maoists.
