A fire broke out on Friday morning in a hotel room located in the Kaikhali area adjacent to VIP Road in Kolkata.
The incident was reported by a person named Sunny, who informed the fire department immediately. The fire engine and police from Baguiati police station reached the spot and took control of the situation. Thick smoke was seen emanating from the hotel room, causing panic in the densely populated area.
The firefighters acted swiftly to bring the situation under control and prevented the fire from spreading to other parts of the hotel or the neighboring buildings. Fortunately, no one was in the hotel room at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known and an investigation is underway.
