The protest kick-started on Monday in front of Mainak Tourist Lodge, Siliguri, drawing the participation of prominent leaders such as Chandrima Bhattacharya, State President of Mahila Trinamool Congress, Shashi Panja, Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress President, Papia Ghosh, Mili Sheel Sinha, and other notable figures.
