A major accident occurred in the Hajipur industrial area. A tanker exploded following an ammonia gas leak at the Raj Refresh Dairy Factory here late on Saturday night. Chaos reigned in the factory after the incident.
Dinanath Singh (50), a laborer from Maner, died in this accident. More than 35 people fell ill. All were admitted to the hospital.
After receiving information about tanker explosion, DM-SP and other officials reached the spot. The gas leak was stopped by a campaign led by the SDRF team. The fire department sprinkles water on the affected areas. QRT was also called from Patna as a precaution.
The state government has also ordered an inquiry into the ammonia leak case. The eyes of the government are on the news at every moment. A special investigation team from Patna left for Hajipur. Which will investigate this whole matter and find out the reasons for the gas leak.
