Nine including two drug peddlers arrested in Jhk's Adityapur

The Adityapur police were seen cracking down on those dealing in brown sugar illegally on Saturday. A campaign was conducted in the area under the leadership of Station Master Rajan Kumar. The police succeeded in this campaign.

Station Head Rajan Kumar said he conducted a special raid around Muslim Colony on Saturday night in which 9 people, including 2 drug peddlers, were arrested for their involvement in the brown sugar trade.

Everyone is being questioned at the police station. He said he wants to tap into the roots of this business for which he gets cooperation from local people. To eradicate the drug business, he started this campaign by forming a team on the instructions of the top officials of the district, which will continue continuously.

He said there is a shortage of female and male forces in the police station. He demanded it from district officials. Once the force is available, it will launch this campaign faster. In this regard, it is also said to withhold the names of whistleblowers and reward them.

It is noteworthy that once the festival comes, this drug trade will intensify. During this, criminal incidents also increase. Given this, the Adityapur police have geared up and are campaigning to keep a close eye on criminals released from jail.
