NCP leader Baba Siddique shot multiple times and dies in Mumbai Hospital
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited the Mumbai residence of legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on Wednesday to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. During the visit, Banerjee tied a Rakhi to Bachchan and referred to him as a "Bharat Ratna" , extending invitations for him to attend the upcoming Durga Puja and the Kolkata International Film Festival.
Speaking about the meeting, Banerjee expressed her happiness and admiration for the Bachchan family. She highlighted their significant contributions and influence, stating that they are the foremost family in India. The Chief Minister also underscored that she has extended an invitation to Bachchan to attend the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations and the prestigious Kolkata International Film Festival.
"I am happy today. I met 'Bharat Ratan' of India Amitabh Bachchan (Mamata Banerjee called Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan Bharat Ratan) and also tied him rakhi. I love this family. They are the number one family in India and they have a lot of contributions also...I also invited him to attend Durga Puja and International Film Festival" said Mamata.
