He emphasized Gandhi's enduring ideals of truth, non-violence, freedom, equality, and coexistence. The day was further commemorated by various leaders and political figures, all pledging to uphold Gandhi's values of peace, unity, and non-violence as the bedrock of the nation.
Gandhi Jayanti, celebrated annually on October 2nd, marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. This day is also observed as the International Day of Non-Violence, in honor of Gandhi's unwavering commitment to non-violence and tolerance. Leaders from across the political spectrum came together to remember the man who played a pivotal role in India's struggle for independence and whose principles continue to guide the nation towards unity and harmony.
