In a concerning incident, two individuals have been apprehended for assaulting a lawyer from the Bidhannagar Sub Divisional Court. The arrests were made by the police of Bidhannagar North police station.
The incident unfolded during a routine metro ride when a minor collision between the lawyer and another passenger transformed into a heated argument. Matters took a violent turn upon the lawyer's arrival at the City Center metro station, where he was attacked by the two individuals.
Police from Bidhannagar North police station responded promptly, though the assailants managed to flee. Subsequently, the lawyer filed a formal complaint, leading to the arrest of the accused individuals, identified as Daipayan Mandal (Kharda) and Devarshi Dugar (Haridebpur).
