Criminal's body mysteriously disappears from SSKM Medical College and Hospital

In a perplexing turn of events, the body of convicted criminal Bablu Poli has vanished from the mortuary of the state-run SSKM Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. This incident has sparked both a police investigation and scrutiny of the hospital's management practices. Bablu's family members allege that he was beaten to death while in custody and claim that his body parts were sold at the hospital. Kolkata Police has stated that the body was mistakenly claimed and cremated, but the hospital authorities have yet to comment on the matter.

Bablu Poli had been serving a jail sentence for the murder of his landlord, and his family was informed of his death in custody on October 21, but his body has since gone missing.

The family's distress deepened as they were unable to locate Bablu Poli's body when they arrived at SSKM Hospital. Hospital authorities have not provided any information regarding the incident. On Thursday, the police informed the family that Bablu Poli's body had been mistakenly handed over to someone else, adding to the mystery surrounding the case.
